About Christian Manoukian

My mom was an elementary school teacher/private caterer and my dad a plastics recycling buyer. (believe me, it’s a long story.) So, it’s should come as no surprise to anyone that Creative DNA runs deep in my veins – as well as the ability to roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty, when the need arises.

As a highly creative visual storyteller, I’ve spent the past 6 years growing brands, companies – and most importantly – people.

Currently, I am a news writer and sports producer for KABC-TV in Los Angeles.

In 2018 at just 21 years old, I was promoted from my role as a News Assistant to become Disney’s youngest-ever writer/producer. No pressure.

Over the next few years, I got to do a lot of cool things, including producing three Super Bowls, a World Series, and an NBA Finals, all before the age of 25. I also cut my teeth on countless breaking news stories, from wildfires and mass shootings to elections and assassinations. And I had the good fortune to learn and soak up knowledge from some of the best and brightest minds in the entertainment business.

Along the way, I’ve also shot photo campaigns for Adidas, Goal Click, and Soccerbible, and had my work appear in Harper’s Bazaar. I’ve worked with prominent publications like The New York Times. And I even presented research at Harvard (yes, actually!).

I have always been intensely curious and delighted in human observation, a perception that is at the heart of my visual storytelling. Whether an athlete’s jubilation after a game or lovers deep in conversation, I thrive on capturing the subtle moments and emotions that make life beautiful.

I am at my happiest when surrounded by those I love most, good food, or both.
